This is a super clean barn find true SS 1970 Chevelle. NOT a clone! This car was found in Kansas with a blown up motor 13 years ago. It was still in factory paint. This is a very good driving car with factory A/C, power brakes, and front disc brakes. Car has all its original body panels. It was a VERY minimal rust car when found in the barn; the only thing that had to be rplaced was the driver side lower quarter behind the rear tire. The motor is a 1968 Chevelle 396 that was totally gone thru including bored out 30 over with flat top pistons and hard seats installed so it will run on 87 pump gas. Also intalled a 700R4 for great cruising RPMs and gas savings. All the front end has been rebuilt, and the hoses, belts, etc have been replaced. Fully functioning cowl induction hood works great. The only things that don't work on the car are the horn and factory radio. All guages have been rebuilt and work fine. It has a CD changer installed in the trunk to keep the factory dash look and still be able to play cd's. All trim, bumpers, and weatherstriping have been replaced along with all the interior. The paint is factory color- Black Cherry with white stripes and is base coat clear coat. It is not show perfect paint, as its been on the car for awhile now, but the car is kept in an insulated shop year round and other than a few normal driving chips and light scratches the paint is very nice.
