This is a nice beach rig. I had big plans for it, up until I found out my wife is pregnant (would rather have the money to prepare a nursery and to see someone use it instead of sitting in my garage). I've taken it out quite a few times with no problems. I've had it about a month. Not smogged, but I do have a temp permit until Dec 19. The truck is perfect for a surf truck (which is why I bought it). Pros *Starts right up *All windows work (even rear window), some faster than others *AC blows somewhat cold air, but I'm not concerned here in SoCal *Heat blows hot *Tires are decent *After market CD player *Mechanically sound *Great to throw your board, dog, furniture, etc. in the back. Cons *26 year old truck, not 'show worthy' *Interior is in fair condition. Shows normal wear and tear *Power steering leaks, but when full does just fine *Not sure if 4x4 works. I've never tried to engage it. *Some corrosion in jambs, but doesn't affect the outer appearance *Rear head liner out, I took it out so I could hang my wetsuit from the support rails. *It's not perfect, but like I said, It serves a great purpose for the weekly beach goer.
