Vehicle Detail
I have for sale my 1969 Dodge Charger project car. This is an original 318, automatic car. It now has a ’69 model 383 Magnum (HP Stamping) engine with automatic transmission. The best thing about this car is that it has virtually everything there. Also, this car will start and run. It is not a driver, but the 383 Magnum will start. All the hard to find stainless trim and interior pieces that nickel and dime you to death when you have to buy them individually are all there. However, I bought this car specifically for the grille. I will be using the grille in one of my other project cars. Therefore, the grille is not included in this auction. I will remove it prior to the car leaving my possession. This car would make a good project or a great parts car. It does have some rust issues as you can see in the pictures. The driver’s side front frame rail, torsion bar cross member, and rear frame rails will all need to be patched. It also has all the usual Charger rust in the quarters, floors, trunk and roof. However, thanks to Auto Metal Direct all the metal needed to repair this car is available. The car is sold with a notarized bill of sale only. I do not have a title for this car. The listing says clear only because EBay makes you mark something.I have included a YouTube link below to the car starting and running. It is not a driver, but the engine does start up and run. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llSe6a_sIto&feature=youtu.be The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $500 nonrefundable deposit within 12 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, do not bid until you have discussed options with me. So, please ask all your questions prior to bidding. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit) and a postal money order, certified bank check, or cashier’s check for the balance. All funds must clear the bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.
