READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY YOU ARE BIDDING TO PURCHASE! We bought this car for my 16 yr old son about six months ago. The car is extremely quiet, no engine noise of any kind, no interior squeaks or rattles. It drives very well and is in great shape for its age. It is in better shape inside and out than most vehicles half its age. It has the 3.4 Twin Dual Cam v6 and it has PLENTY of power. When we bought the car it had a power steering leak and the gas hand did not act right. I have since replaced the fuel gage sending unit and fuel pump(installed complete system) and I had the pressure line on the power steering replaced. Shortly after that the car quit and I replaced the ignition module. It has been driven everyday since with no issues. It does have an intermittent service engine light(does not affect the car in any way that I can tell) and every once in a while the low coolant light comes on(coolant not low prob the coolant level sensor) this is common in GM cars from this era. It does have an oil leak. It leaks from under the planium on the drivers side. If I am driving it it leaks about a quart every two weeks(I have heavy foot). If my son drives it it leaks about a quart a month. It could probably use struts on the back(floats a little in the back after hitting a bump). All of this stuff is very minor and I had no problem letting my son drive it with no worries. The worst part of the car is that every now and the the odometer stop working for short periods of time. I didn't notice it right off so I honestly don't know if that just started or if it has always done it. I do not know the exact miles on the car but I believe that they are close(just a guess tho). I have owned several cars in my life(65 to be exact). I have torn down, rebuilt, repaired, or replaced about every part of a car and I believe that this car would last someone a long time if properly cared for. My wife drives a 2012 Chrysler 300 and thi car is as quiet as it is! I would deliver the car to the person who buys it(up to 200 miles for a fee). I have made a pro and con list below. Good luck and feel free to e-mail me with any questions(jimmy_acuff@yahoo.com) PROs....great looking car, body in great shape with no visible rust, interior in great shape, runs extremely well, air is cold, heat is hot, trans shifts as it should, tinted windows, new fuel pump, sending unit, ignition module, pressure line, great fuel mileage for a bigger car, plenty of get up and go, only 7% of these cars had the bigger engine(rare). CONs....will need tires before long(come with two extra), may need struts, oil leak, passenger window will not roll down(switch?), need a stereo, trunk carpet missing, miles?, dash is curled up just a little, That is as honest as I can be about the car, if you have questions just shoot me an e-mail. Thanks! On Nov-27-12 at 20:59:13 PST, seller added the following information:I have added this note but wanted to make sure that it was easily seen by all. Without music in the car you can hear that the struts do "rattle" a little from underneat the rear of the car and can be heard from the inside. It is no big deal but I wanted to mention it just to be on the up and up.HAPPY BIDDING!
