Mechanically, This Eldorado benefits from Cadillac’s 429 cubic inch V8 engine rated at 340hp and 480lb/ft of torque, with revised engine placement for 1966 teamed with the excellent Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission that first appeared in 1964.
