THIS IS A NO - RESERVE AUCTION - GOOD LUCK ! You are bidding on a 1939 Ford Pickup just out of 30+ years of storage. The truck has no current title and is auctioned on a California Bill of Sale. It is long past out of the "DMV" Records and there are No fees due on this truck. The True & Actual Mileage is Unknown. (110,000 miles was given in the required field as a fill in only). The engine was pulled leaving the transmission and driveline in place. The rearend turns and operates freely and correctly. The rear leaf spring is missing. The rear hubs were replaced with a later 5 1/2" bolt pattern rather than the "Wide 5 Pattern" that was original to the 1939 Model year. The original Steering column and Bajo steering wheel is in place as is all of the original axle, brakes, backing plates. The hood is loose from the hinges and the hinges remain bolted in place and are in operatible condition. the hood side panels are nice and straight and are loose for shipping. The Grill shell and lower grill shell apron remain bolted together and are loose for shipping. The floors and seat pans are nice, and the original seat frames and springs are included. The dash had 2 addition holes cut for gauges many years ago and it is not a pretty sight but is repairable and or replaceable. The Cab as shown has no rust in the cab corners or any of the normal problem locations. The bed pockets have rust through at the bottoms and will need to be replaced. These are available from many sources. The original Tailgate chains are in place, The original Fuel tank and neck was removed and stored seperately outside of the truck and appears to be in good operatable condition was it is flushed out. The original Flathead Radiator, starter plate, and engine pan will be shipped with the truck. There are 6 each of the 16 inch Spider style wheels included, 2 that are now on the front of the truck and 4 each that are loose. I will post picturtes of the wheels tomorrow. The Truck Rolls and can be loaded for shippment. I will assist, however it will be the winning bidders responsibility to arrange all shipping. This is a good, solid platform and builders project, that I just do not have the time nor energy at my age to complete. My desire is to pass it on at a Reasonable, affordable and most of all Fair price.
