I have not seen a Mustang this clean in 10 years I wonder if it has ever seen the rain I cant find any rust anywhere cowl, floors,wheel houses,fenders ,doors anywhere If I had the money Id keep it for my self . Im the cars Mechanic Im selling this super straight and rust free 1966 convertible for the couple who own it . I know most of the history of this car so if you have a question please ask. It was sold new in California and was barely driven by the older woman who owned it then in 1986 my friends bought it in San Deigo and have taken really good care of it now they want a RV to tour the country so their selling . So where to begin 1966 289 2v c-4 auto factory disc brakes Power top and in the last 3years or 10,000 miles heres a list of services . tires ,top,interior ,trunk mat,full suspension,brakes,timing chain ,water pump,tune w/pertronix ,am/fm stero w/cassette new exhaust and fuel system ,power top switch,window regulator (driver door) heater core . the list goes on it could use a repaint there was some touch up on the trunk that dosent really match and one more thing it has a rock chip low center on the windsheild ., an engine detail would be nice touch but thats about all this car starts every time and runs ,drives,shifts,steers,and stops nicer than most mustangs oout there (Im the shop foreman in a Mustang only restoration shop so I know how bad they can be) Dynacorn wants $18,000 for a 65/66 convertible shell and then you need $45,000 to finish it out .Why do that when you can buy this rust free cherry for less .car is also for sale localy and we reserve the right to end auction at any time Thank You and good luck .
