This is a 1971 Jeep CJ-5 with the original Dauntless V-6 in it. It cranks right up, no problem. Most all of the original pieces are here! Original wheels and center caps and trim rings, 5 each. One wheel does not hold air. There are 5 extra wheels (centerline mags) that fit this jeep. There are 5 extra uniroyal tiger paw radials that fit either wheel. All 10 tires are in excellent condition with no cracking or dry rot. All the tires have tread close to new tread. There are 4 doors included, 2 full and 2 half doors. All 4 doors are in very good condition, see the pictures, There is a full soft-top and a bikini top, both in good condition, no rot. I can tie all pieces securely to this jeep for shipping. This vehicle runs and drives, but is not roadworthy at this time. It calls for brake linings to begin with. I have driven it on the road, but it is in need of some attention. The front driveshaft is missing. The worst rust is what you can see from the outside. Underneath the rust is not very advanced and I have provided pictures for your inspection. The clutch is stiff on this jeep. The clutch does not slip at all. I am told that the steering wheel is an original replacement (recent). I have state inspections from N.C. for 16 years on this vehicle. In 1990 it shows 33066 miles. In 1999 it shows 47467 miles. I have reciepts from G.D. Jeep parts (Waynesville, N. C.) from 1999 showing a rebuilt tranny exchange, a new top, clutch and throw-out and resurface flywheel and etc. for $2,914.21. There is brand new battery in this vehicle.
