1968 GTO 4 Speed #'s Matching Engine, PHS Documented, and featured in an episode of ABC TV series "Detroit 187". This car is an original "242" GTO, originally sold and spent most of its life in Georgia, brought up to the north 4 years ago. This is a very original GTO, with many original (working) parts. This Muscle car starts right up every time, drives and runs great with no problems, and has LOTS of power through the original engine block. There are no known mechanical issues with this car. I have owned this car for 4 years and spared no expense any time an improvement was required. Have most of the documentation for all repairs or improvements. This car has the factory hood tach option, 8 track player, Muncie 4 speed transmission and Hurst shifter, original Ralleye wheels, positraction 3.55 rear end, front disc brakes, original interior which is in excellent shape (no rips or tears anywhere (only the headliner was replaced), headers, not a spot of rust anywhere on the body of the vehicle, and a new paint job. New parts within the last 4 years: New battery, alternator, valve covers, MSD ignition, Comp Cam Camshaft, Demon Carburetor, hood tach, clutch, Muncie 4 speed transmission (M20), drive shaft, posi-traction 3.55 rear end, hurst shifter, headliner, bearings and rods, headers, and front and rear windshield. Also was featured in the 3rd episode of the ABC Network "Detroit 187" TV series as the car that helped solve the crime. DVD of show comes with the vehicle. Absolutely a fun to drive, great looking GTO with all of the right new parts and options to ensure years of pleasurable driving.
