Thank you for taking the time to look at this rare 83 Audi Coupe Quattro. I have owned this car for 18 years have finally decided to let it move on. My guess is that if you are looking at this car - you are very well educated on the history and nuances of this rally breed car. Please take the time to look over all the pictures - I have done my best to capture as much of the details on the condition of this car and what has been done to it while it has been in my possession. I have performed various upgrades - however my goal was to keep it rare and unique and in perfect running shape. Some of the basic highlights are Clean\clear tile\carfax ULTRA Rare 85 front grill in near NEW condition (Have old 3 parts if you want them) Upgraded K24/K26 Hybrid Turbo \ Fins clipped and bulleted (see pics before it was installed) Ceramic coated valve cover\Exhaust Manifold and downpipe (see pics of install and before) Borla Stainless rear muffler and stainless duel intercooler tips Professionally fully rebuilt head all new springs\guides\valves\timing belt etc. (ARP head stud kit\ARP EM bolts kit) Bosch150amp Alt upgraded Stereo upgrade - CD\Bluetooth\Alpine Amp\Focal speakers rear\Boston Accoustics Front Dash Quad - HID 6000K H4 H1 Highs and lows (see pics - this also has been wired to take the strain off the fuse box - if you understand why) Quad LED brake lights and parking (Euro ones) - super bight LED dash light bulbs\glove\trunk\etc - no hyper flashing turn signals etc Koni Shocks\Eibach springs\motor mounts\new clutch\seals at 98K New upgraded motor and transmission mounts. BBS RF 16x8 3pc wheels (one has small curb rash but otherwise in great condition) Battery moved to trunk/boot - Fuse panel added under seat - No rust\acid under seat (see pictures) This car is truly in amazing shape and the pictures will show how much time and money I really put in this car and more! I have truly done so much to this car even I would not be able to think of everything I have done. One of my favorite quotes - "its all about the details" So I did things like polished various engine parts, replaced bolts with hardened stainless. New hard to find parts were always my quest like finding the 85 front end all purchased new - new filters\bushings\lines\bomb for the brake system - things that you won't see in the photos. This car has been kept inside\garaged in a salt free enviroment. I'm a non smoker and never let anyone smoke in the car. The body is rust free and I think all the paint\stickers are all orginial (and I'm being honest here) other than I think the hood has been painted since before I purchased the car (18+years prior). As you will see in many of the pictures it was about trying to keep the car in best shape\condition now and in the future. The engine runs very strong, absolutely no smoke on start-up. The turbo spool up is quick and makes a very noticeable sound. The entire brake system works amazing and grabs like tossing out anchors. I'm a serious seller - looking for a serious buyer - Thank you all Now the disclaimer - this is a 30 year old car and of course comes with no warranty in any way shape or form. I have done the best to describe the car as best I can. I welcome any serious questions before you place any bids. Couple of notes - the drivers side mirror is cracked but I have a whole replacement for that side that I will also include. I will include the original shocks and springs if the winner wishes. Will include the canter cap lock for BBS wheels. The AC does not work and mostly needs to be recharged. Just passed DEQ - I was going to post Pic of Emissions report - but ran out of photos.. Min HC - 220 - Car had 26 Max CO 1% - Car was 0.0114 so it runs SUPER clean too. The DEQ station was amazed at how low the emissions were, they said this was lower than some ULEV cars...go figure that? (Oregon tags good until June 16 2014). NOTE - The report listed shows a couple of descrepancies - first the odometer has NEVER been rolled back - DEQ must of entered it incorrectly. And of course this is NOT a 1 owner car. I have a car fax and I believe I'm the second owner - the first being from Pasadina - California. Also the report shows this as 4000 Quattro which is also wrong so please do not fully rely on the report. The milage is true to the car - after about 2001 I stopped driving the car - to keep in in pristine shape and knew that if it was ever wrecked would be written off and not repairable. Since then as I had mentioned - I kept in mint shape driving it about 200 miles a year just here and there. I currently have Classic car inssurance on it covering it for $25K so was limited to 500 miles a year anyways. On Nov-20-12 at 02:46:09 PST, seller added the following information: Couple of additional notes - Trying to bulk answers many of the questions being asked so I apologize in advance for the long notes. I do have the original wheels that are the gold spoke alloys that are 15x6 or (6.5 I forget) and have studded snow tires mounted on them. I really did not want to ship them but will include them to the winner (pending reserve met etc.) – shipping will be at the cost of the winner if not shipped with the car. I hate to put them on the leather seats but will wrap them in blankets to help protect the leather as they won’t fit in the trunk. The spare tire will also be included - looks new – still has the rubber tickler thingies on it. Car jack will also be included too. Stainless braided brake lines all the way around. The turbo is a water\oil cooled setup – and retains the dual oil filter setup. The clutch\seals etc were done at 89K not 98K. There is an Air/Fuel LED meter added on the right side of the dash and a boost gauge on the left. The power mirrors do move and heat up – but the door switch I think is broken and I have never been able to find a replacement. I replaced the heater core and hoses about a year ago just because I thought it was time. Most of the vacuum hoses are now high temp silicone made for vacuum. If I can - I will try to add\change a couple of the pictures to include the extra mirror, orig wheels, shocks and springs and front bezels in the next day if & when I have time. One last kind and gentle note – please remember this is a rare used 30 year old car – I have done my best to be open about everything but when I get questions like – does everything work? I don’t think anyone even with a new car could 100% say yes – that’s why new cars have warranties and 30 year old cars do not. So please understand when & why I say the safe and legal answer is no.
