Vehicle Detail

Got a one owner gem of a car here- check my feedback, I don't let people down! Prefer local pick up, cash in hand, but will ship if paid in full, and buyer makes all plans, and covers all costs... This car has belonged to my wife, long before I met her in 2004, she bought it new as a dealer vehicle from GM on 2/05/2001 with 5,140 miles, with a window sticker price of $27,485.00 fully loaded buick- one owner, clear title- no liens, in hand! Car has approx. 180,000 - 195,000 miles as odometer is burnt out as of 175,000 miles Roughly 1 year ago.. Most of the miles are highway miles traveling up I-65 in Indiana between Lafayette, and Chicago- while my wife was going to Purdue Univ., for a degree in vet, medicine, but living at home with her parents in Orland Park (Chicago) Ill. during the early 2000's until meeting me in '04- and driving between Delphi In,. and Lafayette In. to work everyday (Purdue) the last 5-6 years, with our two kids All lady driven, never smoked in, WELL maintained, but shows all signs of 12 years of daily use- Was driven daily until 11/12/12, when I bought her a new Subaru Legacy, now it must go, just taking up space Buick is loaded with every possible option, and original window sticker is still in the glove box- Basically what I will do here, is a "good and bad's" list, because I don't want to spend 3 hours typing about a car we have owned for 12 years, if you have any questions, not stated in my description- just feel free to ask! :) "THE GOODS!" 1. One owner, lady driven, highway miles- 2.Clear Indiana title in hand, with no liens 3. WELL! taken care of- ie. oil changes, etc. etc. etc. 4.3.8 superchared 3800 engine- very reliable, still purrs like a kitten, runs smooth, sounds smooth, is smooth- no smoke, knocks, pings, or misses 5. Loaded with everything, including climate control, 8 speaker "Monsoon" stereo system- sounds awesome, luxury package (sf) with, electronic dual zone climate controls, mirrors (inside and out)- automatic dimming, steering wheel radio controls, on and on and on- I'm sure I'll miss something ***6. MANY NEW ITEMS INCLUDING- 1.new tires (3/2012) front "starfire sf-340" 225-60-10, and "Toyo Extensa a/s" 225-60-16 rear - roughly $400-600 dollars 2.new front and rear brakes, (2-2012) 150.00 dollars 3. new fuel pump, and fuel pump "fuel regulator" (7-2012) $1000.00 4. new battery (7/2012) $90.00 5. new spark plugs, and intake manifold gasket, w/ valve cover gaskets (4-2011) $550.00 6. both left and right front wheel hubs have been replaced in the last 50,000 miles- $400.00 7. trans flush, along with coolant flush- (8/ 2011) $300.00 8. too many things to mention, just ask.... (( **** THE BAD LIST..... ****- )) 1.Has leather interior, but is pretty much shot, from 12 years of daily use and sun rays- (see pictures) drivers seat real rough, carpet all in tact, but stained and dirty... 2. ALL! dash warning lights are on, due to a cut wire on the passanger side hub, although new, and FULLY reliable, the wire that goes to it, has been split by a stone or something while driving, causing the computer to trigger the "abs", "traction", and- "check engine" light- anti- lock brakes are not currently working because of this, although brakes themselves work fantastic- I have tried to splice wire, but it is to close to new hub to get ahold of... because hubs are new, and it does not affect drivability- I have not spent money to repair, because its only the computer thinking there is a problem, when the drivability of the car is not affected... 3. The 3.8 (SUPERCHARGED) engine has 2 drive belts on the motor, 1. to drive all nessasary motor attachments, ie. alt, water pump, ac compressor, etc.- this drive is fully functional with a new belt,..... Gm installed plastic pulleys to drive the supercharger- those pulleys gave out at approx, 150,000 miles, so there is no drive belt to turn supercharger- (see pictures) this does not AT ALL affect the drivability of car, but does lower the horsepower from around 275hp to roughly 225 horsepower- supercharger is still 100% in working condition, but buyer would need to replace belt pulleys, and install belt to get going agian- (see pictures) I did not spend money to repair, because it does not hurt the drivabitlity of car, and with my wife babying it daily with two small children in the backseat, she did not need, nor have interest in a "supercharger " anyway... Odometer is burnt out along with all dash lights being on- car has roughly 185,000 miles,+/-, oil change sticker in windshield from 5/2012 says 175,000 miles 4. Power steering, or rack and pinion, is starting to have problems- car turns fantastic to the right, but is somewhat hard to turn to the left, my wife described it as having to "man-up" when steering to the left, only happens at slow slow speeds, ie. parking- steers fine at driving speeds... all and all, it is what it is- a 12 year old car, with 12 years of daily use,.. check my feedback, I am an honest ebayer, this is a one owner car, that has been well maintained, and is very reliable, with nearly $2000.00 dollars in new parts- just ready to let it go because purchase of new car thanks for looking
