up for auction is this 1967 chevy chevelle 2 door hard top,the car starts runs and drives without any known drivebility issues to speak of. The motor was profesionally rebuilt about four thousand miles ago and purrs like a kitten,it has a aftermarket aluminum four barrel intake along with a aftermarket carb, the exhuast has been replaced with headers and true duals all the way out the back and sounds nice.The transmission shifts great without any slippage or noises, the rear end is a ten bolt non posi unit and works just fine. The brake system is power assist with front disk brakes and rear drum brakes,they work as the should but the booster line needs to be plumbed at the intake in order for the power assist to work,i didnt have the right fitings at the time to hook them up due to the aftermarket aluminum intake and base plate,no big deal! all the glass is in great condition along with a new front windshield being installed a couple of yeras ago.The body is the 2 door hard top coupe with real old paint on it,it needs to be repainted in order for it to shine. The body is pretty nice without any major dents or rust, the right rear quarter panel was replaced along with the trunk pan,the rear windows on the chevelles were known to leak and thats why the parts were replaced. The floor pans are very solid without seam rust or patch work performed,you will be pleasently supprised witht he condition. The front hood will need to be replaced due to it has a fold on the right side by the hood hindge but the ss grill insurts are useable. The interior will need some work like seats recovered and door panels on the doors have been cut for speakers and need replaced! the tires are in great condition with many miles left on them,crager wheels are in average condition with minor flakeing on the chrome,i had rally wheels on the car but some theif stole them a couple weeks ago and thats why i'm selling the car. car comes with a clear colorado title with correct vin tags and factory stop sign rivots hold it in place, the things the car needs as follows: paint job new door panels carpet seats recovered right rear tail light inop dash lights inop the speedo quit working a new owner to love it you could fly in and drive the car home if you choose, i think it would make it anywhere you would choose to drive it at this point,please keep in mind that the car is over 45 years old and is not new. i'm listing the car to sell it,i don't want to store the car for much longer but i could store it for up to a month untill you can make arraingments on picking it up! car will need to be paid for within 7 days of auction close!
