Vehicle Detail
We are excited to offer this exceptional 1983 Honda CR480 AHRMA Post VintageMX bike. The 83 CR480 is one of the most popular post vintage race bikes due to it's smooth and linear powerband and lightweight. The weapon of choice in the Ultima 500 class!! This is a very nice example of an original low time bike that we have done a full cosmetic and light mechanical restoration on. The bike came from a private collector in PA. Engine out frame off restoration. New glossy plastic kit. New seat cover. Tank refinished. New decals and backgrounds. New DG pipe and silencer. New bars / levers / perches / grips and gold series chain. New Michelin Tires / Tubes. New chain slider. New fork boots. New cables. New fork seals. New hardware throughout. Excellent compression smooth shifting motor. A great package!! We have other vintage MX bikes listed!! Take a look at our other auctions!! We offer amazing rates for shipping both internationally and domestic. Domestic shipments are moved via enclosed trailer and fully insured - normally a 2 week window. International shipments are crated and insured for your safety and run 4-6 weeks from port to port. Again these are rough estimates. International buyers - we can handle transport to to most anywhere in the world - you are responsible for any customs duties or import tax. We can crate and ship to the port in the UK for $750 and $995 to the AUS ports. These are 30-40+ year old vintage dirt bikes. The original manufacturers didn't warranty them when they were new, so neither will I. Every used vintage dirt racing motorcycle, whether it has been restored or not, will ALWAYS need SOMETHING adjusted, tweaked, modified, replaced, repaired by YOU before you ride or race it. Since no bike is perfect, please be reasonable and understand this before bidding. Thanks for looking and feel free to take a look at our other vintage and post vintage MX bike auctions!
