1984 Toyota 4x4 long bed 2.4L diesel truck. A rare unmolested all original factory diesel five speed with strait axel front end. LN California "D" title with clean current registration. I bought this truck from the original owner in Spokane Washington five years ago. It was my daily driver and the most dependible rig I have ever owned, until the knock. It runs but has a nasty knock. I took it to a diesel mechanic and he says it could probably be fixed but to look for another engine. They are available (Ebay, JDM, ect.) I just don't have the time to mess with it right now and have a storage problem. It has a new alternator (200 miles) and a new starter (500 miles). The Tailgare is rusty and the back bumper is junk. Rear quarter panels have some rust as well but nothing really bad. Second battery tray is rusty. Other than that the undercarriage has little and only minor surface rust. Floors are clean and solid.Truck starts fine with one battery (it was fitted with two) no matter what the temperature. Transmission shifts super smooth and solid. Clutch was new when I got it so it has about 20k on it. Ding on passenger door and dimples over rear wheel wells. Stock steel wheels with good tires. What I believe to be a factory engine heater. Used up seat but functional. Original dash cluster with 85MPH speedometer and throttle cable Idle (unique to diesel) Clock block-off plate intact. Mud flaps all missing. Sliding rear glass.. Lights, wipers heater all work as original. Don't know about the rearview mirrors, I ve heard that the dealer would put those on if you wanted...? Dash top is cracked. Stock radio work and a CB radio is slipped into the spot under--they didn't cut it! Well cared for and truly appreciated for what it is. These truck are very rare in this configuration. The last of the Landcrusier engineered pick-ups for this country. Parts are no problem as Toyota imported the 2 wheel version for years. Original owners book in glove box. Great candidate for restoration. Wife says it must go or no more fun for me.
