Vehicle Detail
Couple of videos here of truck running. Normal 0 Here we have up for auction is a beautiful 1990 GMC 3500 4 wheel drive dually pickup. I have just finished refurbishing this truck for my own personal use to pull my boat up to Lake Winnipesaukee. Unfortunately plans change and I ended up selling the boat this year. This truck is now total overkill for me now. Because I was building this for myself I spared no expense in refurbishing it and making it as luxurious as possible. This truck needs nothing. Just get in and drive and put it to work. This truck is an absolute beast to drive. It has tons of power and tons of torque. It is very quick with the 6.5-liter Turbo diesel and three-speed auto. About the power train for all you gear heads like me. This truck was originally built with the 6.2L turbo diesel and three-speed auto. A former owner put in a newer 6.5L Turbo with a new tranny (with shift kit) at the same time. (He was a diesel mechanic) That was about 100,000 miles ago. It was a good choice as the 6.2L was never that good of an engine. If you know these diesel engines you know that the government specs out these 6.5L engine for use in their Hum Vees. This truck runs and drives great. The handling is tight and inside there are no rattles. Very quiet except for the killer exhaust and turbo sound! The turbo is in great shape. Transmission runs and shifts great. No issues. 4WD works fine in both low and high gear. There are a couple of very minor one or two drop leaks from the engine and the transfer case. Nothing you would need to worry about. It just marks it’s territory. It has AC but is missing one hose. The interior is a sight to see. I ditched the stock bench seat and installed a set of Town and Country power buckets. I also had brand new custom fabricated blue leather upholstery made and installed. It is as comfortable as a Denali in there. Brand new carpet and brand new headliner installed too. It has a great four speaker stereo system. I made this as luxurious as I could. The truck does have a Meyer plow frame mounted on it. I do not have any other parts of the plow system. Here is a list of most everything we did to this truck. New white color coat/clear coat paint All 6 tires new LT series tires Alcoa aluminum wheels polished to a mirror shine Added a ton of clearance lighting New side steps Tinted side windows New front calipers Rear brakes done New pitman arm and tie rod ends New steering stabilizer All new Monroe gas shocks (all four) Engine was gone through with new fluids and drive belt New brake lines Brand new Diamond Eye 4 inch turbo back exhaust system (sounds amazing) New OEM leather and carbon fiber steering wheel New diamond plate bed rails New power leather bucket seats New chrome rear bumper New chrome towing mirrors with LED lights New Kenwood AM FM IPOD CD stereoTwo newer batteries Obviously I do have a lot of money in this truck. I am just trying to recoop whatever I can. The reserve is reasonable for what you are getting. I have a clear title in my name. I will assist with shipping but the cost is your responsibility. If you want to see it just contact me and we can set up a time. I am located in Pomfret CT. Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Offers are welcome.
