Volkswagen Eurovan MV (Multivan) with 96xxx miles. Clean Carfax and clear title. Seats seven (7) Adults. Similar to Weekender but without poptop. Garaged since new. Original shiney paint with some stone chips on front and on driver side rocker panel but no rust or corrosion. There are some scrapes/nicks on the alloy wheels but they balance very well so the ride is smooth and without vibration in steering wheel or seats. It runs great on low octane gasoline and gets 16-19 on highway. Options included: Electric tilt/slide sunroof with sunscreen. Heated front seats (they work great). Electric /heated mirrors, elec windows, rear window defrost, rear wiper. Separate front and rear passenger compartment A/C and heat controls. AM/FM/cassette with 6-disc CD changer. 12v accessory plugs in middle and rear of van for rear passengers to plug-in computers, inverters, etc. Rear bench seat folds-down and converts to queen bed. Not like the Ritz-Carlton beds but a lot less expensive per night. Front seats fold-down flat, too. Good for napping. Front driver and passenger seat arm rests, which fold-up out of the way, when needed. Folding up/down dining table, which is super for drive-thru dining, gourmet picnics, wine-tasting or laptop computer movies when there is no time to stop or waste. Did I mention the dining table cupholders? There is also a flourescent tube lamp over the dining table, which illuminates the interior even when the engine is off. Lots of storage space beneath rear seat and behind rear seat. This is the perfect transport vehicle for Thanksgiving/Christmas road trip to mom's or grandma's house. All the gifts, coolers, suitcases fit with ample space for passengers. Two rear-facing captains chairs with arm rests (both rear facing captains chairs are completely removable when you want to move lots of larger stuff, like a Lazyboy recliner). Snap-in privacy curtains which cover all windows including front and rear windshields (nice privacy when camping or to keep interior cool in summer). Snap-in bug screen will cover entire opening when rear latch is open (nice ventilation when camping). Also included: Removable vinyl floor mats which cover most all carpeted areas. New class 3 trailer hitch receiver installed April 2012 and used for Thule bike rack, only. (if we are worriec about someone stealing our bikes from the rear rack, we put put our bikes inside the van without removing bike front wheels. Lots of space for the serious family bicycle team). Trailer light harness installed but never used (flat four connector). I suppose you could haul a small boat or tailer. For those who are in-the-know about Ev tires, we will include a new set of four proper Dunlop S2000 OEM load-rated tires designed specifically for 2000-2003 for Eurovans (these are stored in my garage and are worth $1200 alone). Regular routine maintenance and major repairs include: Oil changes and tire rotations on regular basis. New windshield glass at 76,000 miles. New Kuhmo Tires at 76,520 miles. New A/C compressor, seals and freon at 79,009 miles. New Mass Air Flow Meter at 79,123 miles. New brake pads and rotors, water pump and serpentine belt 89,739 miles. New transmission in 2012 at 96,501 miles (this was a major investment, folks. I feel much better about selling this van with a new transmission). Most of the work was completed by VW dealers. We have our receipts as well as the receipts from the owner before us. My wife and I have owned a few Eurovans and we are big fans going back to the first Eurovan Weekenders in 1993. This is our spare car and has been garaged. Interior has not been subjected to animal dander/hair or smokers. The owners before us were a very organized and orderly German couple who worked for Bayer in Kansas City but moved back to Germany. We use this Eurovan primarily for vacation/holiday road trips Florida, Colorado and California. As you can see, we have not ignored maintenance or repairs. Buyers will get all the paperwork. We are offering to sell for much less than we have invested (like $10k less). We are selling to buy a new luxury car. I have noticed that both AutoCheck and CarFax indicate there were four (4) owners including myself; this information is not exact. The First owner was Volkswagen of America in Auburn Hill Michigan where VWOA is headquartered. The Eurovan was delivered from the port of Houston to a VW executive in Texas. After 18,693 miles, it was returned to a local VW dealer by VW executive. Then, it was sent to the regional VW auction, where it was purchased and titled to the purchasing VW dealer in Wichita Kansas with roughly 18,805 miles. It was driven by someone at the dealership until roughly 26,598 miles. German Couple were owner #3. We purchased in middle of 2009 and are owner #4.
