1957 STUDEBAKER SILVER HAWK The Hawk is sitting in my garage, unused & starts easily to move around. The oil and other fluids need to be changed. Dual exhaust! Very MINOR surface bubbling. A prior owner sprayed over fender tip welting so paint is peeling there. No bubbling around air vent or head light bezels. Small patches of bubbling on trunk lid lower, top of drivers side fender where an attenna may have gone thru and about 6 inches up from bottom of drivers door that looks more like a poor paint job than metal rot. Carpeting is in great condition! Black seats accented by white. Headliner/Visors are white but slightly discolored. Chrome, pot metal and stainless trim well above average. Front bumper has a scratch and rear has a half dozen dime to quarter sized spots where the chrome is peeling. Trunk area is more discoloration than rusting thru. The pan is solid. One small pin hole thru Felt channel for both windows needs replacing. I have the strips. Just have not installed. Drivers vent window had old rubber molding. Needs to be replaced but window and latch work great. All glass is in great shape. Tires are "near new" radials! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The car would make a great driver and head turner or you could restore to show. This is a solid car, stored indoors thru most of its life. Underside has original or no undercoating. It has not been restored. Not a $20,000 car but a great, solid car requiring little work to be a daily driver. xxxxxxxxxx Additional pictures are available.
