Mechanic's or Project Special!!! This bike came to me by local trade. The bike has around 35,000 miles. It does not run and needs major engine work. The right side swallowed it's piston, so the right cylinder is pretty much scrap. We see marks inside the engine case as evidence of metal pieces circulating in the engines bottom end. Whether or not there is damage and how much is unknown. Bike otherwise is in good condition and functional. Complete engines come up for sale online for $2000 to $2500, so someone with some mechanical know how and an afternoon to spare could probably make out pretty well on this. This bike is for sale as is and will be a good parts bike or project for someone. The bike comes with two BMW GPS units, sides and top case, tank bag, misc manuals etc.Trades are welcomed.
