I have for sale a 1998 Ford E-350 ambulance prep chassis with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 7.3 Liter Turbo diesel powerstroke engine. It has a 158" wheelbase. The engine, transmission and the chassis has 275,581 miles, however the rear differential has been replaced with Jasper remanufactured component at some point. This chassis is from an ambulance service that took the unit out of service to be remounted. When it was in service it was well-cared-for and when it was taken out of service it ran well, started easily and all components operated as they should. In the middle of last winter, we attempted to start the unit with ether and got some blowback throught the intake breaking the plastic intake. It will not run in its current state, but should run fine once the intake is replaced. Other than this issue all other components including the dual alternators, AC, heat, etc. worked as they should. This auction is set up with no reserve and the starting bid at $500. Once it receives a bid I will not cancel the auction to sell locally. However until then, it is for sale locally and the auction may end if I get a reasonable local offer. I will need to collect Michigan sales tax if you are a Michigan buyer. If you are an out-of-state buyer I may need to collect taxes depending upon your state. In all cases you will be given documentation of the sale showing your taxes were paid (you will not have to pay again in your state) along with a clean and clear title(it is still titled as an ambulance).
