RUTLAND MASSACHUSETTS POLICE AUCTION This auction is for one (1) White 1997 Chevrolet Corvette with 61889 original miles and automatic transmission. The vehicle is being auctioned off as is. The vehicle runs but appears to need a new battery. This vehicle, bearing Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 1G1YY22G4V5101045 was seized by the Rutland Massachusetts Police Department on February 7, 2011 as part of a drug / narcotics investigation (steroids). On October 15, 2012 it was given to the Rutland Police Department as part of the forfeiture judgment granted by the Worcester, Massachusetts Superior Court as part of judgment / civil action number 2011-00593C. This vehicle shall be auctioned off on EBAY as a public auction to the highest bidder in compliance with the judgment. Any interested parties that wish to bid on the vehicle may view the vehicle at the Rutland, MA Police Department at 242 Main Street on Thursday November 8, 2012 from 4PM to 7PM. The winner shall be responsible for removal and transportation of the vehicle. Payment shall be made to the Rutland Police Department / Asset Forfeiture Account in the form of a certified bank check. The vehicle shall not be released until the funds have cleared and posted.
