Vehicle Detail

I've owned this BMW Z3 since December 2010 and have had a lot of good times with it, including a recent road trip to Santa Fe. It has been maintained by Absolute Motor Works in Englewood, CO and is in great mechanical condition. I am only selling it because it is a third vehicle for me. It is a 2000 BMW Z3 2.3 roadster and is a rare pistachio green color. Only a small number of the roadsters and coupes were painted pistachio green, which really makes this Z3 stand out. The interior is tan with black floor mats. This Z3 has an inline-6 170 horsepower engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. It has heated seats if you're inclined to drive it in cooler weather. It is equipped with air conditioning, power locks, power windows, ABS brakes, traction control, and has a stock stereo system with a six disc CD changer in the trunk. The stock stereo system and six disc CD changer work well, although one of the woofers (likely in the passenger kick panel) could stand to be replaced. The convertible top appears to be an after-market replacement and is in excellent condition. The Z3 has some paint chips on the hood and a scrape on the rear bumper (see photos), but these are consistent with what you'd expect on a 12 year old vehicle and should be easy to repair (I haven't gotten around to them yet). The Kumho Ecsta tires have about 50 percent tread left on them (I'll include a spare Kumho tire, if you'd like). The master brake cylinder was just replaced and the brake system is in great shape (inspected at the same time). On the interior, the driver's seat has some wear on the side bolster (from rubbing on entry and exit), but it does not have any rips or tears. The passenger's seat is in excellent condition with little to no wear. I replaced the floormats when I purchased the vehicle and they are like new. With the exception of the center console lid, the interior is in excellent shape and presents itself nicely. The hinges on the center console lid are broken (common problem on the Z3). The glove box also sags to some degree (see pictures, also a common problem). The airbag light is also on and has been since I purchased the Z3 in 2010. The Z3 has about 105,000 miles on it. Absolute Motor Works in Englewood has done an oil change, replaced the thermostat, and replaced the master brake cylinder since I've owned it. This BMW runs great and really has required little work since I've owned it. The insurance, even, is less expensive than you might imagine on a BMW roadster.
