ere we have a 1939 international truck. I believe it is a 1 ton truck. I done some research and found that there is no difference in the cab on this and the cab of a 1/2 ton they are the same, Only the fenders are different. Considering that the truck is 73 years I think it is in excellent condition. Of course it does have some rust in it. The major rust is in the rear cab corners. Most rust I would consider patina The doors open and shut and the floor boards are decent. The engine in the truck is a flat head 6 cylinder. It still turns over with the hand crank and you can feel compression. The previous owner said the engine ran when parked. And he also stated he turned the motor over evey so often. Who knows motor may crank and run I just havnt tried it. I have put a battery in truck and the starter motor still works and turns the motor over but that is as far as I went with it. It does roll and steer This truck will make an excellent project truck for your rat rod or restoration project.
