*Note for previous watchers: brakes have been fixed. Car is completely driveable now. Rebuilt front calipers with new pistons, new front pads, Speedbleeders at all four corners, and system was thoroughly bled twice. 1987 Mazda RX-7. Sunrise Red over gray cloth interior. A bit under 148,000 miles on chassis, roughly 110,000 miles on engine according to previous owner. SE trim level with power sunroof, power steering, and air conditioning (does not blow very cold, but has a charge). A previous owner has installed an Alpine AM/FM/Cassette radio with Alpine 12 disc changer (mounted behind passenger seat). Newer (less than 2,000 miles) Falken tires (nearly $500 alone), new fuel pressure regulator, and new battery recently installed. Car runs and drives. Can be a little finicky about starting up if left for several days, or left out in cold. I think one of the injectors may be leaking a little once car is shut off, as a little starting fluid and the car fires up immediately. Seems to start fine if driven daily. Exterior door side trim on both doors will need to be fixed (adhesive is failing and trim is falling away from car). Clock has stopped working. Car does have typical Michigan rust issues, with rust on the underside, on outer passenger bulkhead, and bubbling under paint on wheel arches. Should be able to get quite some use out of the car before rust becomes safety concern, or use the car as a parts donor for another non turbo FC that has a bad engine. Was going to use this one as a donor for one of my other projects, but have realized I just don't have the time to get to it right now. Carpet has stains here and there, primarily behind the passenger seat, as if someone spilled a coke and did not clean it up before stain set in. May come out with a good cleaning, not certain. Engine compression numbers: F: 7.2/6.9/7.2 @ 266rpm R: 6.7/6.8/6.7 @ 228 rpm Car is located in Greenvile, Michigan (48838), and is being sold as-is, where-is. Payment due by PayPal within thre (3) days of close of auction, or cash in hand at pickup, so long as that is also within three (3) days of close of auction, unless other arrangements have been made with me prior to auction ending. Provided car is paid in full within the three days of auction close, I can hold the car here for up to two weeks after auction ends with no storage fees, though I will assume no liability for the car once the auction ends and car is paid for. Please Note: I will be away from Nov. 10th through Nov. 19th. If car is paid for, I can arrange for you to be able to pick it up while I am gone, but I will not be present to answer questions or help load it (if trailering).
