Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I am the sole owner of this 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXi. But it lives no more. I bought it off the showroom floor in 2000 from Charleston, SC. I have driven it for 12 years and the mileage is 225,306. Two weeks ago, it died on me going to work and I had it towed to a local repair shop. I was told it "jumped time" so I assume that means a broken timing chain. The motor was never broken down and closely examined. It was hooked up to a diagnostic machine and determined to have low compression and timing issues. The mechanic's advise was to replace the 3.2L original motor with another one rather than repair the existing one. I chose to tow it to the house and replace it with another vehicle all together. I was never quoted a price for a new timing chain (and whatever else it might have needed). This is the original motor and it still has the original Chrysler transmission. I have the maintenance records since 2003. Lots of oil changes at 3000 miles, give or take. Everything works on the car. The car is front-wheel drive. Transmission shifts smoothly, cold A/C, good heat, AM/FM CD player (speakers are a little scratchy), power windows, power brakes, power seats, cruise control, etc. The "check engine light" is not on and has never been a problem. Always passes the OBDII inspection. The interior is in pretty good condition but the dash has two cracks on the passenger side. Seats are leather and in good shape. The exterior has a few dings and some paint is peeling off the trunk lid area. It has four very nice original Chrysler factory wheels and four tires with lots of tread life left. It has a full size Goodyear Eagle 60 series spare tire that has never been used. I have a clear title with no liens. I'm starting the bidding at $249 with no reserve. Drop another motor into it or repair the one it already has. It has been a very good car with little or no problems over the years. IF YOU WIN THE BID, YOU HAVE TO COME PICK THE CAR UP OR ARRANGE FOR IT TO BE TOWED TO YOUR LOCATION OF CHOICE. IT CANNOT BE DRIVEN. Please call me (nine one zero 818 zero one eight five) or email and you can come by and take a look. Did I say it can't be driven so you'll have to come pick it up? Good luck.
