Vehicle Detail

BEAUTIFUL Baby Blue 1966 Mustang Convertible LOADED with Factory Options and being sold at NO RESERVE: 289 CI 2V V-8, Automatic "Cruise-O-Matic" Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Dual Exhaust, ICE COLD FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING, Power Top, Console, Medium two-tone Blue interior, Blue Top, etc. Like new tires with Cragar SS chrome wheels, "Arcadian Blue" is the name of the paint color, and I believe it has been re-painted once several years ago. Solid California/Arizona car with all original floorpans. This Mustang was built in San Jose, California and shipped to Phoenix when it was new, where it spent most of its life. It runs and drives beautifully, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. This car has the heavy duty cooling system, so it doesn't overheat with the air conditioning on, even in 110 degree Arizona summer heat. I have been told that this in an original matching numbers powertrain car. The engine, rear end and steering box FACTORY TAGS are still affixed. The original AM radio is still in the car with a vintage FM converter that was added in the 1960's and works well. I am including all of the numbers that I can read clearly, and door tag numbers, etc because I am NOT an expert, and don't know how to tell what all of these numbers mean- but I will take pictures of anything that you may need, and would welcome anyone to come and see the car or send an inspector at any time throughout the auction so that you are happy with the car and know exactly what you're buying. This car was part of a large collection, the owner passed away some time ago and the AZ title states that the mileage (approximately 39,250) is actual, but I obviously can't verify that. The under-side of this car is every bit as impressive as the rest; maybe even more so, because it's very rare to see floor pans, frame rails and torque boxes in such amazing condition on a 45+ year old car. San Jose, CA built Mustangs used a "Red Oxide" primer on the floor pans, so there is no nasty under-coating on this car. Please look at all of the pictures, they describe it better than I can. A wonderful example of a true Classic Beauty that gets nothing but compliments and makes people smile everywhere she goes. Door Tag #'s are as follows: Warranty 6R08C219216 Body 76 A Color K Trim 22 Date 18F DSO 75 Axle 6 Trans 6 Engine/Manifold Tag #'s: 289 C 66 12 6-F 236-T Carburetor #'s: C5ZFA Steering Box #'s: HCC AW 6F07B Please feel free to contact me any time if you need any additional info, would like to come and see the car, or just have questions: 520-404-1975 cell. (Heather Anderson). I am a licensed/bonded AZ auto dealer... NOT by choice, but because here in the great state of AZ if you buy/sell more than 3 vehicles (of any kind) in any 12 month period, you have to get a license. I am a classic car and Airstream nut, I also have a ranch, wedding venue, horses, trailers, etc... let's just say I bought and sold a few too many for the state's liking, and due to the fact that they need revenue desperately- they decided to fine me when I sold a few more that what I'm "allowed", long story short- they got a bunch of my money, so that I can continue to do what any citizen of this great country should have the right to do. Full payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end, and the car must be picked up within 15 days of payment (unless other arrangements have been made). Certified funds, cash in person or bank wire-transfer only. Payments MUST clear before the car leaves my sight. There are no "title fees" or "doc fees" like the typical dealers have because as far as I can tell, that's just a way to get an extra couple hundred dollars from someone, here in AZ it costs me $15.00 to get a temporary registration so that a buyer can drive home legally and $4.00 for a title, I think I can handle that. Please check my feedback, you'll see that I don't sell very many vehicles- but I do have 100% positive feedback on what I have sold over the years. I do NOT go to auctions and buy cars to sell, anything that I have sold or will sell either belonged to me or someone that I know or is a "consignment" type of sale. I have never liked most car dealers and am not all that thrilled to be "one of them". This is a used car (45 + years old to be exact) and is being sold as-is/where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This Mustang is in wonderful condition, but please be realistic- it is not a brand new car. I would welcome and recommend that you come see it or have a 3rd party inspection. I will make it available throughout the auction for any and all inspections, just call and we'll set up a time. Please understand that the description is only my opinion, yours may be different, I have done my best to take many pictures and describe the car to the best of my ability. If you have specific questions or concerns, please ask them BEFORE bidding. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Great State of Arizona as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Arizona between Arizona residents, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Ever After Ranch Motors LLC must be resolved exclusively by a state or federal court located in Cochise County, Arizona, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Cochise County, Arizona for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes. I reserve the right to end this listing at any time for any reason as the car will be for sale locally as well. Payment methods accepted must be in the form of Certified funds, bank wire-transfer, or cash in person. Due to concerns of fraud, if you're paying via cashier's check, it must clear my account before the car/title leaves my sight. **Taxes: Arizona Residents: Must pay Sales tax (7.1%) as we are located in Cochise County.**Any Non-Arizona Residents Using a Shipping Company: Pay No sales tax. The eBay final bid price is your price, you may have to pay taxes in your home state upon registration depending on where you live, but as long as I have a copy of a receipt/Bill of Lading from a licensed shipping company to show the state of AZ that the vihicle was picked up from me directly to be shipped out of state, you pay no tax here. **Non-Arizona (U.S) Residents Taking Delivery in Arizona: Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 42-5061(U), out of state buyers that take delivery in Arizona will pay sales tax according to their home state's tax rate. All customers who take delivery in Arizona will receive a receipt showing taxes paid in Arizona to avoid being double charged by their home state. Licensed dealers do not pay sales tax.**Non-U.S Residents Taking Delivery in Arizona: Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 42-5061(U), foreign citizens who take delivery in Arizona are subject to 7.1% state and County sales tax. Licensed dealers do not pay sales tax. Thanks for taking the time to look at my auction and good luck bidding!!On Nov-06-12 at 11:39:48 PST, seller added the following information: Additional Info: I have had several people ask me the same questions, so I thought I would try to give everyone a little more information. The biggest concern seems to be about rust or previous body work, bondo, etc. I have not seen any rust on this car, the frame rails, torque boxes and floor pans are original and solid- I have LOTS of pictures that I would be happy to send. The paint job is about 7-9 years old, it is very presentable and has a great shine, it has always been garge kept. The paint job is not what I would consider a "high quality" job, but more like the mass-production type of a paint job that a lot of the chain type paint shops put out. I dn't mean to say that it doesn't look good, but there are flaws when you look closely. No overspray or anything that bad, but there are "fish eyes" in a few places, a run in what I think is the clear coat here and there, etc. You have to look very closely to see these things, but I just don't want anyone to be disappointed, I'd rather tell you/show you up front. I took several pictures yesterday of what I would consider to be the "worst" areas on the car, again it's hard to see, but I did get some good pictures of the paint flaws and if you'd like to email me, I'd be happy to send them to you. I just want you to know as much as possible about the car. I have not seen any evidence of body work or filler, have gone over the car with a magnet and didn't find any issues. There has been some previous work done on the left front inner fender, it must have hit something at some point in it's life and wrinkled that lower inner fender. It has been pulled out, and the damage wasn't very bad obviously, because they didn't replace that inner fender, you can tell because the factory stamp is still in place. Please email me for additional photos, call me any time if you'd like to come see/drive the car, or if you just need more information. Please ask any questions and have any inspections done before the end of the auction. Thanks
