Low Reserve Auction on 2002 Land Rover Freelander SE! Low Miles! This is a sporty, stylish and fun-to-drive 4 wheel drive vehicle! 2 brand new tires in the rear position (less than 200 miles on them)! This vehicle starts and runs fine. However, it needs a new timing belt and timing belt pulley. The belt has not been broken and the vehicle has not suffered any damage, but it is making a scratching noise which the dealer tells me is the timing belt and timing belt pulley. I got a new car and I don't have the expertise to fix the timing belt on my own and don't want to pay for the repair. This is a steal for someone with the know-how to make the repair! Please plan accordingly when you pick the vehicle up, as driving long distance with a timing belt issue is not recommended. Other than the issue described above, the vehicle is in good shape. It has the expected minor dings and scratches expected of a ten year old vehicle but nothing major. There are a few cosmetic issues shown in the pics (a bit of paint rash on the top side, windshield crack on the corner of driver's side, missing gas cap cover). Also, the sunroof sometimes sticks in the open position so I just disabled it by removing the fuse. Also, the rear passenger side window does not function. FYI - the Vehicle History Report shows a "loan/lien record" flag. I just payed off the loan a week ago, so it probably hasn't cleared on the history report yet. No worries - I have the title in my posession and there are no issues with it.
