1976 Suzuki RE-5Bike is a good runner and you would be able to use it for any bike night and get far more attention than a custom Harley. Bike has the unique sound of the rotary engine. Bike has new tires, front & rear, battery, front brake calipers, and master cylinder is completely rebuilt. I have had the bike for approximately 15 years. It has been stored inside in my heated warehouse. The last time the bike was ridden before this was 2002. I stopped driving it when the front brakes seized like most Suzuki's of that vintage. I didn't get around to repairing it until this year.This year I put approximately 2 tanks of gas through it. With 2 exceptions, it runs extremely well. The bike comes from the factory with a 2-barrel carburetor and there is a hesitation when the secondary kicks in. It will need a new carburetor kit. Also, the fuel petcock will leak when it is turned from on to off. I replaced both of these items in '02 because it has been sitting for the last 10 years, it needs to be done again. Repair kits are easily available on eBay.I'm 62 and am reducing my toy collection. I would have done the work on the petcock and the carb, but if I don't sell it, it may not be driven for another 10 years. The bike is looking for a good owner who will give it a good cleaning and a bit of TLC. It is not a show bike, but it looks far better than any RE-5 I've seen at bike shows. I also have 4 blinkers for the bike and the rear view mirrors, they're just not installed. Any questions on the bike, please don't hesitate to ask. Everything on the bike is in extremely good condition with the exception of the mufflers (small amount of rust, see pictures). Suzuki had a hard time deciding how many CC's the rotary engine was. The bike runs down the road at 80 mph and to me it feels a bit stronger than a 750 Honda of the same vintage.
