This rust free 1979 Bill Blass has been a joy to own, now it is time to let her go as I have too many toys and not enough storage for everything. I bought the car a number of years ago from a collector friend in Dallas and have put 30,000 miles on her using the car for cruise-ins, some Lincoln shows and road trips around Texas. The 96,000 miles are believed to be actual. Overall condition is quite good. The interior is clean and straight with cold A/C, working cruise control and all the power goodies. A custom CD player with a remote was installed in the glovebox so that the stock am/fm 8 track could remain in the dash. The transmission was freshened up within the past year. Cosmetically, the only complaint I have is that the vinyl sail cloth top is beginning to shrink at the rear corners. If you wanted to show the car seriously on the Lincoln show circuit I would suggest a repaint and new top although the car is rust and damage free, there is normal wear on the paint consisting of some minor nicks/chips. Otherwise, she is perfect for cruising around or cruising in. The downside is that the windshield recently caught a rock and has a long crack. One piece of chrome is missing along the top edge of the widshield. The tires have lots of mileage left, probably 80%. This car is a strong candidate for a mild restoration, customization or Saturday night cruiser. The car is priced right.
