I am re listing due to my error in not clicking rebuilt in the title section. sorry for the mix up As with alot of cars over 10 years old any accident causes the insurance company to total the car for lack of parts available. I purchased it from a very well known (to 96 Roadmaster collectors on eBay) recycler who uses original parts from other damaged in accident Roadmasters to get them back on the road and not in a salvage yard. I am a 5 time repeat customer of his and always very satisfied as are all of his customers. Thanks to him the car we all love lives on This statement is from the listing I bought the car from on ebay 2 1/2 years ago "Rebuilt title for damage to hood, fender & bumper now repaired without significant damage.> I've had nearly 1000 of these wagons & put them together correctly. I have "before" pics if needed showing clearly superficial, not structural, damage. Air bags did not deploy." Collector's Edition like every other '96 Roadmaster built. Southeastern PA car with no body rust and a very solid underside. Power provided by the multiport fuel injected 5.7L <350 cubic inch> LT1 Chevy Corvette-based V8 and 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission - lots of power. Tow package with 2.93 limited slip rear gears. Loaded up with lots of power goodies. . Runs and drives out beautifully - drive anywhere! NO RESERVE. . Worried about gas prices? These cars are good for 24 miles per gallon highway! Don't just take my word on it - ask anyone who owns one. . Please have funds in place prior to bidding. Engine runs at proper temperature with newer radiator and there's no check engine light. brand new battery & good charging system, New fuel pump, Fresh oil change. Runs smooth & strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors or noticeable leaks. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in great shape with no body rust or rust repair. Above average. Paint: Paint is shiny and nice with a couple scratches consistent with age. Above average, too. Other: Plastic bumpers are in great shape with no cracks. Stainless side trim is nice with a couple small dings, all the rubber molding is present. Undercarriage is solid with some surface rust but no heavy scale - see the pics. Door jambs, (tailgate sill has small surface rust starting), and underhood sheet metal have NO rust blisters in these hidden areas. Solid frame all around. Glass is all good. Aluminum wheels are in great shape with no curb rash or pitting. INTERIOR: The interior is in good shape consistent with miles. The only complaint is some light normal wear around the driver's seat & carpet .> All else exceptional - remaing seats, carpeting, dash, seats & cargo area are in beautiful condition. No smoke odors - non-smoker's car. Above average interior. blue leather seats are in great shape except the rear seat bottom was replaced with one from a limited ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work All power stuff works including power windows (the right rear needs the plastic wheel replaced in the track it's GM part # 09666748), locks, dual power seats, hot heat & cold A/C through digital climate control, tilt wheel, autodim mirror, twilight sentinel, power mirrors, cruise control, am/fm cassette, power antenna, hatch release, keyless entry, rear wiper, and rear defroster all work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out great - tight & quiet. Steering & suspension are tight, alignment is right. Brakes work well with newer linings, no noise, no vibration. Tires are a matched set of goodqualityradials with about 70% tread remaining. Solid exhaust with no leaks. Rear endis quiet & limitedslip works. Quick off the line, smooth and quiet on the highway with passing power galore.
