Up for sale is my Vstrom 1000, Unfortunetly, this is a poor time of year to sell a motorcycle and I have to keep lowereing the price. Its good time to buy buy bad time to sell. The Kelly blue book value is $6850. and I have priced it lower then any bike on Ebay or Craigs List. I am the original owner and I bought it off of the showroom floor. It is in exellent shape, no accidents, never dropped, Garage kept. It as 48k of all highway miles and has never been offroad. It has been religiously maintained always using synthic oil. It ready to ride, needs nothing. This bike has been the best and most trustworthy bike I have owned. The bike comes with removeable Suzuki hard side bags and mounts and locks, Shad hard rear case that locks, Fork brace, throttle lock, GIVI tall windshield, Madstad windshield bracket, Tank bra, 12v accesory outlet. The motor and frame are completely stock for reliability. The DID chain and sprocket set are new, the tires are matching Bridgstone B- 20s road tires with about 500 mi on them. Brakes will pass state inspection. The valves were adjusted at 15k and checked again at 30K and were perfect. The Vstrom 1000 is 40 lbs heavier then the 650 but will handle 90mph highway speeds effortlessly while the 650 V strains. You cannot tell the difference in handling between the 2 Vstroms at lower speeds. The 1000 is a much better bike. The bike has 48K mi which keeps the price low but I am absolutley confident that the bike will go forever with proper care. Please research the Vstrom forums for more information on this. I'm reluctantly selling the bike because I have payments on a BMW 1200 RT and I can't afford 2 bikes. The VStrom is actually a more powerful and reliable motorcycle. I have a clear title in hand and will help with delivery every way I can. I can drop it off anywhere in the central Maryland area. I also will be happy to do a free pick up at the airport if you want to drive it home. The bike is ready to be driven Xcountry.
