Vehicle Detail

This is a very desirable original 66' Red 327 SS Convertible not a clone. I purchased the car from a family whose father had started the restoration but passed away before finishing. When I bought it all of the body/metal work was professionally done so NO RUST. This above all else should be your primary concern as it's extremely expensive to have done and most have some if not a lot of rust. The following was done over the last several years. The data code plate confirms that this was an original and very desirable red car with black interior. New interior New top New top cylinders New top motor/pump New gas tank and lines New exhaust New front end bushings New springs front and rear New shocks New Holley carb Lots of smaller items Period correct Crager Mags with good tires I had the car painted last year and looks good overall but I was not happy with it as upon close inspection there are imperfections so would label it driver quality. The factory A/C was added at considerable expense but still needs to be finished with regards to final hookup and charging, etc. I have the body emblems like the Super Sport and Chevrolet but I just don't have the time to finish along with other detail items The engine and transmission function properly. The engine is a period correct 327 double hump head. Has a 12 bolt rear end. Lights work, gauges work and of course the top works. Brakes were redone a few years ago but feels like maybe a booster issue but they do work. Whoever wins this beauty will have a true 66' SS 327 in red that they can enjoy driving and finish the details as desired and these cars continue to rise in value. I must sell for business/finiancial reasons so have put a very fair and low reserve on it. I would recommend to anyone purchasing a car on Ebay to inspect it. Inspections must take place before the end of the auction not before. *This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied.
