Has for sale this beautifully original MGA 1600 roadster. This car has all original sheet metal. Including the inner and outer rockers. Just look at how perfect the door fit is! There has been one respray about 25 years ago. Mechanically, the car runs and drives wonderfully. Everything works as it should. We bought this car from a lady owner who recently had the exhaust system replaced with a brand new stainless exhaust. The carbs have just been tuned, brake systems freshened and she is ready for the road! The interior on this car is VERY nice. The leather seats are new and supple. The carpets and rubber mats are also very fresh. The car does have a presentable top. There is also a rare dealer-installed AM radio. This car is one of two things: It is a driver as it sits now. A presentable, clean, original driver. Alternatively, you could take the car down to bare metal, replace the sills (there is a little rust in the inner rockers, but nowhere else on the car) and do a beautiful restoration. Everyone always says the cheapest restoration is the one that starts with the most expensive car. This car would make for an unbelievably straight forward restoration. At the end of the day you would have a fully restored car with all original sheet metal that would be preserved for years to come. Or, just get in and drive her.
