Vehicle Detail
I am the original owner of this car, and have the original Bill of Sale. I can not be definitive about the mileage as the speedometer has been dis-abled for some time. I replaced the engine at 155.000 miles, because of a cracked case. I estimate that the replacement engine has between 40,000 to 50,000 miles on it. Uses very little oil, and there is no leaking of oil from the engine. The car was recently repainted a lovely candy-apple red. The material covering the drivers seat (ONLY the part you sit on) is showing signs of severe wear, and will probably need to be re-upholstered. The body is blemish-free; NO rust; NO dents. The rear bumper looks virtually new, but the front bumper is showing some rusting. The car has been stored Since Sept '05. I did not drive it, as I was having problems with the cold-start system, and two mechanics were unable to solve the problem. Two weeks ago, I found a mechanic who was able to get to the root cause of the problem. The car now starts "eagerly", after about one revolution of the engine. This vehicle will give you a solid 30 mpg, and has sufficient power to easily climb a 6% grade. The tires are virtually new (5% wear, if that). I installed a new battery on Oct 15, 2012. NOTE: I am including a set of chains; a pair of jumper cables; and a plastic car cover.
