1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet - 1 Owner - Major Documentation! Ok Folks...Stay with me, there is a lot to say about this special Porsche. First off, this is a 1 Owner Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet that has more documentation that any other Porsche (or car) out there..I'm pretty sure of that. This Porsche has over 4" of paperwork and documentation from the day of the initial special order form. The Porsche was ordered and Treffen (European) delivery was taken. The first service was performed in Stuttgart along with the delivery inspection. It was driven in Germany for a few hundred miles and then scheduled for transport back to the states. I have the original bill of lading and shipping report to go along with it. As a special item of interest is the travel form, brochures, etc. I also have the Porsche Factory Touring Pass, Tourist Vehicle Insert, Order Confirmation for Delivery in Europe and Receipt, US Window Sticker, German Window Sticker (rare), Treffen Stuttgart 1987 Brass Plaque, Air Mail Envelopes, Porsche Receipts in German from Stuttgart, German Porsche Service Book, Delivery Checklist in German, Stuttgart Survey Report, Numerous Letters and Correspondence from Porsche, A Cancelled Check from Porsche dated 1988, Some Stuff in German that I don't know what it is!, Tourist Delivery Program Car Order Form, Porsche Shipping Form, Porsche - Lufthansa Brochure, Porsche Tourist Delivery Booklet, Factory Porsche 911/928 S4 Colors and Interior Trim '87 Booklet, 1987 Porsche Full Color Brochure of the Entire Line of Cars, 1987 Porsche Full Color Brochure Book for the 911 Carrera and Turbo Cars, 1986/1987 German Map-book given to the Treffen Delivery Customers as they tool around the German Countryside and the Autobahn, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, 1988 Porsche Special Edition Models Color Brochure booklet, Porsche Factory History Book given at Tour in Stuttgart. All Books and Service Records come with this special Porsche. Every single item and repair history is here and included with the car! There are 6 pages of stamped history in the service book. A file over 4" thick is included for your reading pleasure. You may never or will never find a more documented Porsche 911 Carrera like this one ever again!! Heavy Documentation, European Paperwork, 1 Owner, Dual Window Stickers, Service Records and a Dry Southwest Car...All lead to a Porsche you may not want to pass on. As for the car itself...it is Special Color-Venetian Blue, which looks like a smokey silver blue in color with a decent black convertible top and Champagne (tan) interior. There are some minor rock chips in the paint and overall it looks very nice as you can see in the pictures. The car runs and drives beautifully as you would expect from keeping up and repairing anything that may have needed to be done. The Air Conditioning blows nice and cold and even the clock works!
