Vehicle Detail
1947 Desoto Street Rod, 350 chevy slight cam,350 turbo,Ford nine inch rear. This car is tubbed,4 link suspension, Gm ''A'' front suspension, Weld Wheels. This car does run and drive, it goes down the road straight, the transmission is not shifting, there is no rear brakes. The tubbing job that was done to rear looks to be a professional job and is well done. The body has fiberglass rockers and rear fenders to accomodate the big tires in the rear. The rest of the body is metal. The paint looks ok from a distance, but is a poor quality job. The interior is decent, has a tilt column, later gm speedometer, custom dash, amfm. This is a car that can be put on the road with a little work,or can make a good project car. This car has a good amount of money already spent on it,and would be a good start for a nice street rod. There is a very reasonable reserve so bid to own. If you do not have any feedback please email me before bidding. On Oct-15-12 at 05:49:47 PDT, seller added the following information: This car does not have a rebuilt or salvage title. It has a clean title with a special number plate which means it has a new Vin # assigned to the car. This is something that Pennsylvania requires for vehicles that were changed This car is far from a stock 47 Desoto
