1936 Was a first for Ford Motor Company, in June 1936 Ford made one of it's first mid-year model changes when it moved the quintessential spare tire from the outside rear of the of the car and into the trunk. These models were called Trunkback's and produced for only a few months before 1937's production line was opened. Consequently there were only about 750 Trunkback Convertible Sedans built, which makes this a very rare and unusual model.
