This car is a true California cruiser that got sent to the East Coast this spring; has never seen an East Coast winter. The engine (283-V8) has been completely restored with a Edelbrock camshaft and lifters, dual roller timing chain and gears, 2.02 camel-hump heads, flat-top pistons (10.2 compression), attached to Hooker headers. The transmission is a 5-speed Getrag with a Hurst shifter. The suspension on this car has also been restored with new Edelbrock shocks, new lowered springs (2" front, 1" back), and completely new ball-joints and bushings; this car just glides down the road (on Center Line rims!).
