86 Ford II Bronco II XLT This is a 5 speed (4x4) Ford Bronco II XLT with a 2.9 liter V6 engine. I received the bronco for my birthday and only drove it for 3 months due to personal injury and the inheritance of a different vehicle. It’s been garage kept ever since. This Bronco II is an all around good vehicle which starts and runs smoothly. It had over $2000 in work done to it before it was given to me. They installed a new exhaust, new clutch, & brakes as well as gave it a full tune up. There were other things done as well, but I don’t honestly remember what they were, possibly belts and hoses. I just installed a brand new battery and it started up immediately. I kept up on all tune ups and oil changes while I drove it. I took plenty of photos so please take a look. Below is a bit more info about the condition of the vehicle. Exterior: As far as the body condition, the rust and body condition on this vehicle is normal given that it is a 1986. The tires need to be replaced and the spare tire is mounted and kept on the rear hatch. The front chrome bumper is slightly bent on the front drivers side as shown in the pictures but not enough that it’s damaging the frame. There are no cracks or nicks on any of the windows. The hood opens and closes well. Plenty of space in the engine to work on it, if you the mechanical type. (I’m not J ) All lights, turn signals, hazards, headlights all work well. Solid Chrome bumpers. The Vehicle measure 154”x62”. Interior: The interior of the vehicle is in very good condition. The carpet thoughout is clean. The dash on the front passenger side is slightly cracked but not anything that can’t be replaced. All knobs and buttons are in tact, as well as shifter and knobs for both the 5 speed manual transmission and the 4 wheel drive shift. There is no stereo in the vehicle so will make for an easy installation of your own head unit. The back seats folds down so that you can load more in the trunk (50”). The female part of the buckle on the drivers side is missing. The rear windows are tinted. There are 3 storage pockets in the back half of the car. The power windows work but there is something wrong with the locks. Tail Gate: Glass has no nicks, scratches ding or marks of any kind. The spare tire mount works and is full in tact and contains a lock which I have the key for. The bottom of the back hatch contains no rust. The hinge is broke on the back passenger side. The shocks that lift the back door work good. The only issue that this vehicle has is that there is a security system installed called a Avital Cyclone Mark II that I am told is cutting off the fuel to protect the vehicle from being stolen and driven far. It’s apparently on all the time I don’t know how to turn it off or fix it. I’m told installing a Fuel Cut-Off Sensor is not hard and cost only 79.00 but again, I’m not a mechanic and have no idea if that will fix it. The truck starts and runs great. I’ve driven it a few times this week but not long distances. Apparently this security system kicks in and stops the fuel and thief from taking your truck very far. Clever!!! So fix this and your good to go. This Bronco will make for a fun off-roading vehicle or just everyday getting around. I am selling it and investing the money in my Ford F250. I own the vehicle free and clear with title in my possession. I will sign it over to you upon payment in full. You’ll need to arrange for shipping or you can simply get in it and drive it away. I haven’t taken it on any long trips so would recommend a complete inspection before driving it to California or a long road trip. I will go to the DMV or local currency exchange to get plates and sticker with you so there is no problem. If you are having it delivered or towing it, I would request that you sign an agreement that you’ll get your own plates within 5 days and that you own and are responsible for the vehicle as of the day you pay me.
