Vehicle Detail

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false PRICE REDUCED FROM $4,500 to $3,500!!! For Sale is a 1929 Dodge Brothers Sedan project vehicle. My father and I purchased this vehicle when I was in high school as a restoration project. Unfortunately, I went away to school, he started other hobbies, and now we live 6 hours apart. My parents are about to retire and move, I don’t have room where I live for a project, so the car must go. I will try to give the most accurate representation of the car, as I know it, please feel free to ask any questions as I am sure I won’t cover everything there is to know about the vehicle. The car was purchased from a rotary club in California and shipped to Pennsylvania where we started the restoration. The car did not run when we purchased it, but the engine appears in good condition. The car is currently painted blue, but some investigation leads us to believe it was originally grey. This would be a great car for a concourse restoration or a hot rod, but I feel like it is almost too original and complete to be chopped up! The current condition of the car is as follows (this is how we left it 5 years ago when I moved away, the pictures are current): 1. The hood and fenders have been removed. 2. The engine compartment accessories have been removed 3. The front floorboards have been removed. 4. The rest of the car is more or less in tact and ready for a full restoration. You won’t find a more complete 1929 vehicle as a project. Everything that originally came with the vehicle is included in the auction. This includes all the hard to find parts that we spent 6 years at car shows and swap meeting looking for. A short list includes: original door handles, the dome light, the Stromberg U2 carburetor (notoriously hard to find because of how delicate they were), I have posted some pictures of the major parts and pieces, but if there is anything specific that you want to see I probably snapped a picture I could e-mail you. Now for the legal mumbo-jumbo: Car is sold as-is, where-is (Northeast Pennsylvania). The buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle within 30 days of the end of the auction. My father will gladly help with logistics of getting the car to you, but ultimately it is your responsibility to take the car from their house. The car is in multiple pieces and will need to be trailered. Clean PA title will be transferred upon complete payment, cashier’s checks or cash only. All sales are final, the car is available for inspection during the auction, please e-mail me to arrange a time and date. No warranty is implied. Unlike other sellers, this car is not for sale locally so you can bid confidently knowing it won’t be sold out from under you. Be sure to check out my other auctions for the other project car we never completed along with lots of Dodge Brothers parts and pieces I am selling separate.
