Here is my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. Engine is a 24 valve Cummins turbo diesel, it has an automatic trans, & is 2 wheel drive. Current mileage is 213,575. Mileage may vary as I am still driving it when needed. I bought this truck from the original owner (City of Houston, TX) in April of 2011 & it has been here in Michigan since then. As you can see, it's a work truck & doesn't have many options other than A/C which does work. The body is fairly solid on it, it's only been driven on nicer winter days here when the roads are dry. There are quite a few dings, dents, scuffs, paint marks, decal impressions, etc. from it's days in Texas. The interior is pretty much bare bones; rubber floor, vinyl bench seat, hand crank windows, no power locks, no cruise, no overhead console. The headliner fabric is starting to droop as you can see in the pictures below. The dash & trim were in a million pieces so I replaced the trim with a cracked & repaired one. I replaced the dash with a used one from an '01 Ram & it has cracked again in the middle (see pictures). Windshield is also cracked in a few places on the passenger side, though it's hard to see in the pictures. The engine seems to run just fine. It has RV275 injectors in it, a large air filter / intake, adjustable boost elbow on the turbo, turbo silencer ring has been removed also. The VP44 lift pump was tossed & replaced with a FASS DDRP. Batteries were also replaced just after I got the truck. Most of these parts are almost a year old. Exhaust is straight 5" exiting behind the right rear wheel. No converter, no muffler. It also has an Edge Comp box on it. There is a frame hitch & also a 4 wire trailer connector by the license plate. I've just towed a small single axle utility trailer with the truck, nothing really heavy. With the truck being a '99, it has some issues & a few things that need attention: The driver's side headlight housing is broken & needs to be replaced. I think there is a caliper starting to stick on the left front, thermostat I think needs to be replaced - the temp. gauge always stays below 1/4 of the way up & there isn't a lot of heat produced. It needs wiper blades...The passenger side door handle plastic is broken from me locking my keys in the cab & having to break into my own truck with a pliers... I have 2 used handles & keys that can go with the truck. The rear tires are pretty well worn & the fronts are probably about 50-60%. Glowshift gauge does not work. This is / was my fun & drive to work truck that I put together for myself. I've put almost 14,000 miles on it, I drive it to work 30 miles each way almost every day, I take it on the freeway & go 75mph with it & it handles OK. I've taken it on a couple of 4-5 hour (each way) trips & it's done fine & I think the worst I've gotten is around 18mpg. I hate to get rid of it, but, I need money for my wedding. SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied. Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. CD player will be removed & replaced with stock radio. Edge Comp Box & air intake are NOT included in the sale - BUT - they will be offered to the winning bidder.
