For sale is a Beautiful 1969 Corvette Convertible, All Original, All Numbers Match. Don't miss out on this perfect car !! It needs absolutely nothing !! A real Beauty.This car was obtained from San Jose, CA with blue plate registration dating back to 1990. It is a true numbers matching L46-350ci/350HP equipped with two tops, factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, M20 4-speed manual transmission, and 3.36 Posi-traction! Original paint color is 983- Fathom Green with interior code 420- saddle vinyl. This extremely original car has very low miles on a complete cosmetic and mechanical restoration. It was professionally frame-up restored starting with a complete body repaint by Thorpe’s Body & Corvette shop. Then, all new interior carpet, upholstery, door panels, convertible top, and weather stripping; refinished original rally wheels with new redline radial tires, re-chromed bumpers, complete exhaust system, fuel system with new tank, brake system with rebuilt calipers, and suspension with fresh shocks and rear leaf spring were all installed. The engine was completely rebuilt with hot-tanked block, lined honed cylinder walls, new pistons and rings, resurfaced heads and exhaust manifolds, polished crankshaft, cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, new intake and exhaust valves, rocker arms, rebuilt carburetor, thermostat, fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, drive belts, all new ignition system, and fresh fluids throughout. The transmission received a complete reseal and fresh clutch kit and bearings. Imperial Automotive & Machine Shop professionally completed this work in May 2009. It still has the original California A.I.R. smog equipment with pump and LOF etched glass with correct Astro- ventilation side glass.
