Vehicle Detail
Here you go, folks. An all original 1973 Ford Bronco Sport with 96373 original miles! We believe this great Bronco has never been repainted, and has cool originality and patina! This is a Buy and Drive, fully restore, or fully customize per your choice. You don't have to deal with anyone else's work or mess. This Sport Bronco runs and shift great, has all the original air filter housing, does drip a spot of oil when sitting for a long time, goes in and out of 4x4 just fine, all gauges work as they should, as well as all lighting. The radio appears original, but doesn't work (did notice it wasn't wired into the power feed, so may be an easy fix). The wipers work also, including all heat/defrost and fan motor. The horn isn't working. All tires with the exception of the spare appear new. All glass is in great shape and the door windows roll up and down just as they should. Door locks work and we have they key to both the locks and ignition. The body is super for an east coast Bronco. Does have a rust spot in the lower rear quarter panel rear of drivers side tire, lower front and rear drivers side fender. It has a seperation around the passenger rear wheel well, but the floor and wheel well look good, so a simple weld bead would take care of it. The drivers side front floor just below the firewall has a rust crease, but all in all, this body is real nice. I wouldn't replace a thing, just use patch panels because original sheetmetal is hard to replace., or just drive it the way it is and wave to everyone! The cab has a few small dents as seen in the pics. Tail gate, doors, rockers, etc., all in great shape for being a Sport Bronco, as everyone knows these can be rust buckets. Cab still has the original card board headliner, and the original wiper motor decorative panel is still in-place. All the Sport Bronco trim is there and looks great, all seats are in real nice shape, and appear to have been reupholstered at some time, original Bronco matting is still in-place, still has all the original Ford seat belts, and we have a lot of the original paper work, such as owners manual, advertising, warranty card as seen in the picture. Still has the original jack and jacking handle installed. This Sport Bronco has both a main and auxiliary fuel tanks, and believe they shift as they should as we tested them when driving. If buying here in VA, it recently passed the DMV State inspection and good until April 2013. Has had recent brake work done, and a new tail pipe from the muffler back. Best of all, we also have the Half Cab and divider wall that goes with this Sport Bronco, which gives you the best of both choices! You can own this Bronco and be driving on the beach or in the mountains without going broke. We have this one priced right with no reserve. The highest Bidder wins. Our feedback shows we are honest folks, who loves all kinds of auto's, and want others to enjoy them as well. Good Luck! I just looked up under the engine and found the oil leak is around the dip stick housing to the oil pan. Easy fix that can be done when you change the oil. Also forgot to mention, I have a set of brand new front floor pans that go with the Bronco if you choose to repair the upper forward floor pan of the drivers side. The passenger side would just be an extra one. I've also had a few questions if I would end the auction for $10K? No, if you're the only bidder at $9700, I just saved you a few hundred dollars! :) Thanks and Good Luck! Thanks for all the interest. I've had a few questions if it could be purchased and driven home. Absolutely! The Bronco was being driven locally on weekends and should have no problems on the open road. It has never been in any accidents, and is just a cool Bronco. Someone also asked if the top has ever been off, and I can't honestly say, but have to assume it has over the last 39 years. No, I will not sell the half cab or divider seperately. There isn't to many folks out there who own these things have both, so want to keep them together. No, I wont entertain anything less, I'll just put it away until the spring. I do have a clear VA title. Thanks and keep them coming. Thanks folks for all the trade offers. I have seen some nice rides that people have offered to trade, but not interested in trading at this time. I also won't stop this auction to sell. Our vehicles are priced right with no reserve, so everyone has a chance to own a vehicle they've always wanted. This Bronco for the money is the best deal on ebay. Not saying their isn't some nice Bronco's listed here, but they can't compare to what this is priced at, for the originality and condition. As I stated earlier, if it doesn't sell, I'll make it even better and ask double the money.
