Vehicle Detail

For Sale – 1992 BMW K75RT with 43,000 miles. This bike was ridden coast to coast a number of times by previous owner. NO RESERVE auction. All lights and functions working properly. Runs, shifts and stops perfectly. Winds nicely all the way up to redline (see video link below for test run.) NO leaks of any type on this bike. K-bikes are known to easily run over 150,000 miles with few issues. The K75 triple is considered the smoothest engine ever built by the BMW Motorrad Group prior to the new in-line models beginning around 2007. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiOZY4NFlX4 Accessories on bike: Excellent condition leather Corbin seat. Runnin’ Lights front and bike increase visibility on the road (custom lights that use turn signals for running lights AND signals when needed.) High intensity front and back main lights. New V-Stream windshield by Z Tehnik mounted on electric windshield system. Original manuals and tool kit included. 3 keys in all – side bags, seat storage and front fairing storage all keyed to common ignition key. Cosmetics are very good – please see photos. Tip over cracks near right mirror – both mirrors replaced but color slightly off – not noticeable from 5 feet away. Very clean overall. New rear Bridgestone BT45 professionally mounted and balanced. Front Michelin Pilot Active showing >75% remaining tread life. Rear shock replaced less than 10k miles ago. Brake pads recently replaced on rear – front pads showing >80% remaining life. ABS unit is NOT functioning on this bike – the ABS controller was removed by BMW shop and all lights are functioning properly. Brakes are functioning extremely well –exactly as non-ABS brakes are expected. This was the first BMW ABS and most riders do not go through expense for repair Of note: spline lube and full maintenance completed at 24,000 miles including replacement of fuel pump. Most recent service and maintenance activity was performed near Savannah GA by noted BMW mechanic Ron Small. I do not have records since the 24k service but previous owner indicated it was well maintained in Mr. Small’s shop. Also included are extensive list of spare parts and accessories. See pictures: new Progressive fork springs including spacers and instructions. Spare fuel pump (I have NOT certified as functioning although the box is labeled “spare”) 1 new fuel pump internal tank filter. Complete set of lighting and bulbs. New clutch cable. 2 BMW oil filters with gasket and crush washers, and oil filter wrench. New set of handlebar risers. New rear master cylinder rebuild kit. New temperature sensor. See photos for all included. Price includes all items described and in photos. $300 deposit via paypal post acution close within 24 hours.
