Up for auction is my 2009 G650GSP, it was purchased new by me in the spring of 2011at Gateway BMW in St. Louis. It was a left over 2009 model that was set aside to be made a Police motorcycle but never had the light bar or siren kit added (thats why its a GSP not GS even though its the same thing) so its a little unique. If you google info on the model you'll see it was only available in Black and Red, so the only difference is.... its white. Anyway it has 4,073 miles it has never been wrecked or downed, all maintenance has been done by me on the correct intervals, and I have kept a log of all maintenance and modifications with dates and millage (kinda OCD like that). I originally got it for a commuter and calculated an average 58 MPG driving sensibly. Bike includes from factory; ABS system with button to disable for off road use, Rear Suspension Adjustment Dial so you can adjust your ride to match your load (passenger or adding bags, its really quick), Heated Grips, Wind/Brush Handguards, Black Windscreen, Battery Tender plug, or use while riding to plug in a heated vest, Engine Guard, and a center stand. After Market Accessories; SW-Motech side lock carrier kit $284 retail, Trax Alu-Box 45 liter capacity $760 for left and right (each with easy carry bag, and rain proof liner), All locks and keys, PIAA 510 Auxiliary Head Lights and Brackets $429, Kaoko Cruise control $120, PIAA High Definition Headlight bulb replacement, and LED drive light replacement. Also included is 1 extra Oil Filter (I buy them in 3 packs), a new can of Castrol chain wax, and a Chain Brush. The bike is fully equipped for awesomeness I just never got around to it, it would be great for someone else to enjoy. I live in the Eastern KY area (Ashland, KY) and pick up would be preferable, but I would possibly be able to meet within 80 miles or so depending on which day of the week it is. On Oct-01-12 at 14:54:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Something I wanted to add because I forgot to describe it, is the 1/4 turn locking fasteners on the side carriers. In one of the pictures (one with the screwdriver) is the 1/4 turn fastener, there are 3 to each side, so with about 2 minutes of your time you can take the bike from full bags, to just side carriers, and then sleek with no carriers. It really is a nice setup, you can go from no load cruising around town, to loaded down expedition ready in less than 5 minutes. I went out and measured 31.5" from the ground to the lowest point of the seat. I remember from magazine reviews it was the model which maintained the highest ground clearance with the lowest seat height for its class. BMW also has a lowering kit, and lower and higher seat options which are available, mine is the standard seat.
