You are bidding on my 1988 Chevrolet 1 ton, dually 4x4, standard cab truck. The VIN is 1GCHV34J8JJ121685. I have owned this truck for 4 years. The past 3 years it has been used primarily as a plow truck. Mileage: 117K. This vehicle is equipped as follows: great running 6.2 diesel motor, bullet proof driveline including TH400 Jasper 3 speed automatic transmission (2 years old), manual shift NP205 transfer case and Dana 60 front axle with manual lockout hubs. Also has 9'2" Boss V-Plow (3 years old), 8 foot factory dually bed, AM/FM/CD, PS, Class III receiver, manual glow plug switch (works flawlessly), 7-way trailer connector with trailer brake, twin amber rotator lights. All tires are good--3 years old--80% front, 90% rear. Good heat/defroster. All the glass is good. Recent work: Dana 60 rebuilt summer 2011 (new king pins, u-joints, bearings, seals--$700.00 in parts), new dual exhaust summer 2011, oil/filter 800 miles ago (use Rotella 15/40), 60G glow plugs summer 2010, radiator new winter 2010, all u-joints Oct 2010, 1000 amp batteries Oct 2010, new wiper motor Nov 2011. Plow information: Boss Power V-Plow 9'2". Works perfectly. Bought brand new and installed summer of 2009. Used regularly that winter and winter of 2010-2011. Last winter it was not used at all--no measurable snow!! Truck is a work truck. This truck runs very good--seriously, one of the best running 6.2's that I have ever owned. Good oil pressure (60 PSI cold, 40 PSI warm), shifts great, drives and stops like it is supposed to—expertly maintained! Rack on back bumper not included. Deficiencies: rust on bottoms of both doors, rocker on driver side, rr cab corner. Frame and driveline are solid. Both rear fenders have cracks, but no holes. Left fuel tank leaks when full so I just use the right side. Dash has cracks and seat vinyl torn on driver side. May consider separating truck from plow--lets talk about that. Title is clear and in-hand. Although this is not a show truck, it will be a dependable tool for someone and should serve its new owner very well for a long time to come. Why am I selling it??
