CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Up for sale and your consideration is a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle El Camino that is turn key ready to drive home and can be enjoyed the day it is purchased ! It has just been serviced and tuned and can be driven anywhere. The original driveline is intact. It is equipped with the original 283 V8 2-BBL carbureted engine and powerglide transmission. Engine code on the flat boss is T1007JD. The rear is non-positraction. The car has been driven very few miles since a complete rebuild on the engine that was completed in 2003, and the motor runs perfect ! With the recent addition of a set of chrome valve covers, the cylinder heads underneath the valve covers revealed a "like new" surface on top of the cylinder heads. This is not a 100 point show winning car but it presents very well as an eye catching driver with it's own unique look. It has had a recent repaint which looks very nice but is not perfect. But again, this is not a 100 point show car. My summary of this car is based on a complete physical inspection and conversation with the previous owner. This car was purchased as you see it with the exception of 60's style slotted "Astro" chrome wheels, brand new dual exhaust, new carpet, engine dress-up and some new emblems. The car is equipped with power steering and steers effortlessly. Tires have great tread. Heater blows hot air. Wipers, radio, back-up lights, and factory accessory emergency flashers are all in working order. The interior also presents very well. New carpet, arm rests, and bases were installed. Black was chosen due to the fact that the car already had a black steering column and seat belts. The pickup bed floor appears to have been replaced. Please take the time to look at all the photos. I even put the car up on a lift to photo the undercarriage to show the solid integrity and cleanliness of the underside of the car.Feel free to fly in to the local Allentown, PA "Lehigh Valley International Airport" and I will be happy to pick you up. It is located 30 minutes from me. This is a fly in and drive it right home to anywhere car. Keep in mind that since this is considered a commercial vehicle, being a "truck", it has advertising tax advantages. Check with your accountant. I have in my possession a clean Pennsylvania title in hand ready for transfer to the new owner. The car has 103,932 miles on it and the title states odometer disclosure exempt by federal law. This was commonly done on vehicles that the odometer did not display the sixth digit. This El Camino is titled also as an Antique vehicle.
