This is a two owner Denver owned 1978 FJ40 all original and always garaged. I'm the second owner since 1995. The original windshield is still in and has no major cracks or runs, just the normal pitting. All glass is perfect. The original owner is my neighbor and a mechanic. He had repainted the vehicle in 1994. I had it repainted in 2000, by a professional shop. The top has never been off and the interior is all original, even the original stickers and lighter are still in great shape. The driver's side seat. has been re-done a couple times. There is some rust but very minimal. The original engine has 155k miles on it and needs to be rebuilt. It is all original and gorgeous!! I was just about to get the engine rebuilt myself and just keep it as I have always planned. I do not drive it though, even when it was running it just sits in the garage and goes to the golf course, once in awhile on a beautiful day. I bought the Cruiser in 1995 with 115k miles. It has 155k on it now. I drove it less than 2,400 miles a year. It’s beautiful and all original. Kind of makes me wish I wasn’t selling the Land Cruiser. My first in person inspection of the Cruiser just left, and he defiantly is a Cruiser lover and couldn’t believe I was selling it. He had never seen one so original and gorgeous!! FYI
