1970 MGB in excellent condition. I believe I am the 4th owner. Engine purrs, uses virtually no oil. Transmission shifts correctly, braking and handling are excellent. Ansa exhaust, duel SU carbs properly tuned. All electrical works as it should. New: seats, carpeting, tires, battery, washer motor, front bumper, running lights, convertible top with zip out window on stowable frame, misc. smaller parts as needed during restoration. Sony AM/FM CD player with AUX and ipod input, remote and Kenwood speakers. Also comes with full tonneau cover in great shape, spare tire on chrome rim. Car was originally English white, professionally repainted Damask Red in early 80s, and remains so today. Paint is very, very nice, photos are a true representation of condition. Floor pans have been replaced on both sides, we did the passenger side, as well as having some additional fabrication and welding done to frame, which is now excellent. Underside has complete rustproofing, the entire car is in outstanding shape for its age. Seats were professionally done to match original vinyl, we had them stiffened for better comfort. Victoria British's best carpet kit was used for the interior. Dash is original, has two small cracks that are barely noticed on lower edge. The center console and heater controls were incorrect when we got the car, we have replaced with the period console, controls work as they should. We did not like the plastic center tray so it has been omitted in the restoration. These early chrome bumper MGBs are quick and light to the touch when you drive. We have replaced / repaired / reworked whatever was required to bring the car to a comfortable and completely drive able condition. She is ready for a short jaunt or an all day tour of the fall colors The car is a head turner and a joy to drive. It may not be true Concours quality, but certainly a super daily driver.
