Up for auction is my 1966 chevelle/malibu 2 door automatic car. 8 cyl 327 engine, electronic ignition, automatic transmission on the column, power steering, power brakes, 14 inch wheels & tires, The tires are in good condition & all hold air. There is no exhaust system on this car, that is why it sounds like a truck when you start it. There is no carpet or radio in this car. All the interior floors were welded in. The 3 piece trunk floors are new but were held in with screws till the trunk floors could be welded in but i never got around to it. The seats are in good condition . The headliner is there but is dirty & is broken at the thread seams. The 2 door panels & 2 rear quarter panel boards are there but over the years had gotten wet & bent out of shape. One brake line on the side in the back needs replacing. I had planned to change it but never got around to it. I will try to see it i can get to it before the auction is over. It does have some rust on the lower rear quarters, as you can see in the pics, where most all of these cars rust at, but it is not that bad. The body is very solid with very little body filler. Bring your magnet to check. You are more than welcome to come by & bring your mechanic to look at the car, anytime before the auction is over, if you are in or near the Bronx Hunts Point Section of the Bronx.. The car is sold with no guarantees or warranties. It is sold as is where is. The front seat is not bolted down as they were removed to have the floors welded in & to have a new carpet installed. Never got around to buying the carpet. The seats can be bolted down if you want them to be. It comes with extra rear tailights & light bezels. The door panels, door handles, mirrors, mouldings & arm rests are all in the trunk. I have the keys for the car & a clean NYS transferable registration in hand. Pre 1975 vehicles in NYS do not use titles but transferable registrations. If you have less than 15 positive feedbacks, then please do not bid on my item till you have first contacted me, otherwise I will cancel your bid, block you from all of my future auctions & notify ebay on you to try to get your account cancelled. This is a project vehicle & even tho it is running, it does need some work as detailed in the listing above. If you cant change a flat tire, then this car is not for you. If you dont know how to work on a car, or have the money to pay someone to fix it for you, then this car is not for you. If you want to drive this car home, then this car is not for you. Once the aucion is over, you can no longer look at the car till you have paid the deposit & then come to pick it up. I will not ship the vehicle, but will assist with loading onto your flatbed or trailer on this end. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time, as the chevelle is for sale here locally in the bronx. All shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. To the non mechanics, I do have a friend whose an out of work mechanic who can use the work & can fix some of the things on the car at a lot cheaper rate than other mechanics. You will have to pay for all parts & his fee, I will give his number to the winning bidder if they want it & you can talk to him directly but the car can not leave my yard till it is paid in full. His fees will have nothing to do with my balance. NOW FOR THE SCAMMERS:::: I will not cash your or your clients check & send you the balance back. If you want to buy it for your client, then you buy it & sell it to them. Dont ask me if i can ship it over seas since if you are the winning bidder & you are paying all shipping fees, then you can ship it to anywhere that you want it to go. Neither the car nor the paperwork will be released till the car is paid in full & all funds have cleared my bank including cashier checks & bank checks. A 100.00 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after auctions end. No exceptions. I read the book, "computers for dummies" & couldnt figure it out, but was still able to set up a pay pal account & was able to pay for items & deposits with credit cards, so you should be able to do it also. If you cant pay the deposit via pay pal, then dont bid on my items. If the 100.00 deposit is not paid, I will assume that you are not interested in the car & leave you negative feedback, block you from all of my future auctions & notify ebay on you. Paypal can ot be used to pay the entire balance , so u will have to make other arrangements. The balance of your purchase can be paid by cash at pick up, or postal money orders or bank checks, both after clearance. You can pay the entire balance via paypal, but you must pay the extra paypal fees. Im sorry if your truck happens to be in my neighborhood before your check clears. No car, no paperwork till the funds have cleared my bank.On Sep-24-12 at 15:13:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I went under the car today & took some pics of the frame & under carriage that a lot of you were asking about. While under there, I noticed & remembered that i had installed brand new motor mounts & brand new tranny mounts. The drivers door had a brand new outter skin installed on it along with a new battery tray. I fixed the broken brake line while i was under there. I also bolted down the seat since a lot of you were asking about it but if you are the winning bidder youre going to have to remove it to install the carpet. I should have left the seat unbolted since if your main thing to ask about is a loose seat, then that is a sure sign that " this car is not for you. ".
