Hello, Up for sale is my 2000 Land Rover Discovery Series 2. Blue exterior with tan leather interior. It has about 150,000 miles. It has a 4.0L V8. It has a tow package. I bought this truck about two months ago and have been driving it everyday since. Tires are almost new with at least 80 percent tread remaining. The previous owner had just redone the cylinder heads and gaskets (some of the engine pictures show the newer redone cylinder heads). Brakes are in good condition. It has an updated 03-04 custom front headlamps with H.I.D. gives the truck a much newer look and safer at night. The interior is in decent condition with normal wear on seats, mostly the driver's seat (see pictures). Passenger side and both rear seats are in very good condition. The headliner is intact but appears to have been previously glued back in place (see pictures). The exterior of this Land Rover shows well but is far from perfect. There are alot of minor dings on the left and right sides of the truck, nothing major, all about quarter to penny sized (tried to show in pictures). The service engine light is also on even though the engine has been running perfect, very smooth. The a/c blows cold. The truck drives straight and does not pull on the road. I have a clear Florida title in hand. The title shows the miles being exempt due to one of the previous owners not recording the mileage when they titled the car. The mileage on the dash does follow accordingly with the trucks history. This Land Rover Discovery includes 2 keys with remotes and all windows and door locks are operational. Again I drive this truck at least 10 miles everyday. I have put over 2500 miles on it since I purchased it. So far its been reliable. On Sep-23-12 at 13:43:51 PDT, seller added the following information: *********UPDATE!!!!!!********* IF YOU SAW MY PREVIOUS AUCTION FOR MY LAND ROVER, I HAD TO RELIST BECAUSE A FEW PROBLEMS WERE RESOLVED. A FRIEND OF MINE THAT IS A LAND ROVER TECHNICIAN AT THE DEALERSHIP CAME BY AND HELPED WITH THE AIRBAG AND ABS PROBLEMS. BOTH ARE NOW FIXED!!!!! THE ABS WAS A CODE FOR THE SVS VALVE SWITCH AT THE PUMP. IT HAD A FAULTY GROUND CONNECTION. WE FIXED IT AND CLEARED CODES WITH THE LAND ROVER COMPUTER. THE AIR BAG FAULT WAS FOR A OPEN CONNECTION TO THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER. UNDER THE PASSENGER FRONT SEAT WAS A SIMPLE PLUG TO THE SEAT BELT THAT WAS DISCONNECTED. THE SERVICE ENGINE LAMP HE SAID IS MOST LIKELY O2 SENSORS. AGAIN 2 OF 3 PROBLEMS FIXED. THE ONLY LIGHT LEFT ON THE DASH IS THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LAMP...... AFTER REPAIRS WE DROVE THE TRUCK A LITTLE OVER 40 MILES. PERFECT! On Sep-24-12 at 17:56:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to clarify. There is NO lien on this vehicle. I have a clear title in hand. I paid cash for this truck a little over two months ago and we did the transaction at the local DMV. MY SUGGESTION TO THOSE WOULD BE TO BID ON OR BUY SOMETHING LESS SUBSTANTIAL LIKE MAYBE A PACK OF GUM OR POSSIBLY A VIDEO GAME, BUT NOT A CAR AS THEIR FIRST PURCHASE.
